Dubai
Arjan
Arjan is a freehold, mixed-use community inside the Dubailand master development in Al Barsha South, managed by Dubai Holding Community Management. Its own community page records 63 plots, 36 amenities and around 18,700 residents.
Its defining feature sits at its edge: Dubai Miracle Garden, the world's largest natural flower garden at 72,000 square metres with more than 50 million flowers, and the adjacent Dubai Butterfly Garden with more than 15,000 butterflies across ten climate-controlled domes.
For daily life the community has healthcare on the ground at Mediclinic Parkview Hospital and nursery provision including Little Diamond Nursery. Retail is the honest gap: the nearby malls are near Arjan, not in it, and we would rather say that than blur the difference.

Location and access
Arjan sits near the intersection of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road (E311) and Umm Suqeim Road (D63). That location is confirmed by Mediclinic's own description of its Arjan hospital, which places itself on Umm Suqeim Road close to the E311 intersection, rather than by a portal repeating it.
There is no metro station in Arjan. Mall of the Emirates on the Red Line is the nearest operating station. You will find blogs quoting a Blue Line arrival for the area. There is no RTA source for that, so we are not repeating it.
Route planners put Downtown Dubai at around 20 minutes and Dubai International Airport somewhere between 20 and 28 minutes across roughly 27 kilometres. Sources disagree on the airport figure, so we publish the range rather than picking the flattering end.
Nurseries
Little Diamond Nursery operates a branch at the Aria Gardens Building in Arjan-Dubailand, one of the nursery's four Dubai locations. All Dubai nurseries, kindergartens and early learning centres are licensed and regulated by KHDA.
We could not confirm a single K-12 school physically inside Arjan's boundary through KHDA or a school's own site, so this page names none. Several operate in the surrounding Al Barsha South and Dubailand area, and we can point you at specific ones on a call.
Malls and retail
My City Centre Al Barsha is the mall most commonly cited as closest to Arjan, with Dubai Hills Mall and Mall of the Emirates also within reach by car.
All three are near Arjan rather than inside it. There is no operating full-scale mall inside the community's boundary, and DHCM's own amenity list covers supermarkets rather than a mall.
Parks and leisure
Dubai Miracle Garden is the community's signature neighbour, recorded by the UAE Ministry of Economy and Tourism as the world's largest natural flower garden, covering 72,000 square metres with more than 50 million flowers. It opened on 14 February 2013.
Dubai Butterfly Garden sits immediately adjacent to the northeast with its own separate entrance, housing more than 15,000 butterflies and described as the world's largest indoor butterfly garden, across roughly 2,600 square metres in ten climate-controlled domes.
Within the community itself, DHCM's amenity list covers parks, kids' play areas, outdoor gyms and basketball, tennis and padel courts.
Healthcare
Mediclinic Parkview Hospital serves the area directly, an eight-storey facility at Al Barsha South 3 on Umm Suqeim Road near the Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road intersection, next to Dubai Miracle Garden.
